"In 2009, 5 months before I was set to be married, we found out our photographer had skipped town (thanks to friends on The Knot) and were left without many options that would capture our day with the quality we wanted. That's when the Louisville photography community stepped up. Many of the established photographers actively sought out to help the brides who'd been affected by the scoundrel who shall not be named. We were lucky enough to snag an opening with Sara due to a cancellation. Her quality was amazing and I still love and cherish my wedding photos 7 years later. Thank you Sara for being a class act and for the wonderful memories you captured."

"We can all look at the gallery of Sara's amazing body of photography and it does not need words of endorsement. The beauty in the imagery and her ability to capture not just a picture, but a feeling is remarkable. But, I would like to take a moment to expand on Sara's total value as a wedding photographer.

I am the mother-of-the-bride, and we all know how stressful our daughter's weddings can be. Sometimes, working with vendors in planning, as well as the day of the event, can be challenging. Not with Sara. Not only did she anticipate questions we had, situations we didn't know to expect and pictures we didn't even think about...but she was also there with assertive control when needed, a friendly hug and reassurance not only to the bride, but also her frantic mom and sisters! Sara was there for the private moments and yet was unobtrusive, she staged, corralled family members and guests. Sara integrates herself into the scene, both with her camera and with her personality. She fluffs hair and corrects makeup, she listens patiently and controls a moment and gently reminds you to "just breathe". So to say Sara is just a wedding photographer is such an understatement. She captures not just the bride's day, but the family's wedding event with imagery to swoon over and with grace, patience and professionalism that I believe is unmatched in her industry."

"While at the wedding of a dear friends daughter, I watched Sara work and was captivated. She was in a zone...so focused on the bride and groom and looking thru the viewfinder to see the photo. Either a smile spread across her face, or she went back after another shot...total investment...it was personal to her. I started following her work on Facebook. I dabble in photography enough to know how hard it is.

We were delighted Sara could do our daughter's wedding and she worked hour after hour seeking the best shots. Wedding's are whirlwinds, and Sara did her very best to capture the day with every effort possible. The memories of the best-day-ever swirl in my mind as I look through all the photographs she sent us. We are very grateful she shared her talents to capture our day. Sara is a true professional and gifted photographer."

"Looking through all my pictures makes me reminisce on one of the best nights of my life! Sara captured some of my most favorite moments and now I have the pictures to cherish and look back at forever. Glassworks wasn’t the easiest place to take photos but Sara made the most of what she had with a smile on her face! She was very polite and easy to work with and any photos that I have asked her to get, she made sure she got! I appreciate all the hard work you put in to make my day extra special Sara. It was an unforgettable night and I cannot wait to get my album to display to all my friends and family!! Thanks again for everything!

"Sara photographed my brothers wedding 20+ years ago. At this time I was only 16 years old. I myself love photography and when I saw the final wedding photos I knew she had an amazing eye for capturing the emotion that comes with any special occasion. I told myself then, when I was to marry, I would be using her. Well, unfortunately, I never married, but I did have children. When my first son was born, I contacted her only to find out she had since moved her business based out of Louisiana. Reluctantly, I used other photographers to fulfill my photography needs. I used several different "names" of photography, but was never fully satisfied. When I saw that she was relocating back to the Atlanta area, I was ecstatic. I booked a Fall outdoor session with my family of four immediately. I sent her photos of some ideas that I had and once we met up she told me that she had been looking at my ideas that I had pinned on Pinterest. I thought that was funny, that she had researched me....just shows that she was doing whatever she could to make sure I was a happy client. When we met up for our session, she met me with open arms, as if we had know each other forever, thanking me for wanting to use her after all the time that had passed. She was very professional during the whole session, making sure we were all comfortable. She made sure that we were all completely satisfied, even showing us some previews from her camera to make sure we were happy with the poses. But, my favorite of the pictures she took are the ones that were candid and not posed, which I wasn't even aware she was taking. By the end of the session, we were not only forever clients of hers, but also friends. I will use, and highly recommend using, Sara for capturing all of my family memories.
